Dr. Nicole Sobotka
PT, DPT, CEDS
Nicole is a physical therapist with 7+ years of experience. She has a heart for helping women move through their life in whatever form this takes.
Nicole comes to Reborn Pelvic Health & Wellness from the ACUTE Center of Eating Disorders and Severe Malnutrition at Denver Health, where she participated in research in addition to patient care. She contributed to a paper published in 2020 in the Journal of Psychosomatics about the impact of malnutrition on the body and continues to collaborate with ACUTE on another research project. Nicole believes that movement is for every body at every stage and feels strongly about providing patient education, empowerment, embodiment, and movement for joy to facilitate this.
In 2020, Nicole advocated for Physical Therapist inclusion in the Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) designation through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP). She earned this designation in 2021, becoming the 2nd PT in the nation to do so.
Nicole’s current focus is expanding her women’s health and pelvic floor services as she works through a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Specialist Course. This adds to Nicole’s dedication to providing evidence-based care through her wide array of physical therapist skills, which also includes Functional Dry Needling to address myofascial adhesions and trigger point related-pain.
When not at work, you can find Nicole exploring her new state with her fiancée and black lab, Emmi. She enjoys being active through yoga, pilates, running, volleyball, hiking, and skiing. Coffee, aspens (anywhere, anytime), podcasts, cooking, and time with friends and her family are her favorite things.
Nicole is excited to join Dr. Betty and Dr. Andrea in providing wellness and optimization-focused physical therapy services at Reborn. She will be providing care at the Hearten House, above Caputo’s located at 314 W Broadway #222, Salt Lake City, UT, 84101 as well as offering concierge home visits.
Dr. Andrea Corwin
PT, DPT, OCS
She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Utah and did an additional one year Orthopedic Residency, plus over 100 hours of one-on-one mentorship for Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy.
In 2021, she was awarded the designation of a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Specialist certification formally recognizes physical therapists who have demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and skills in a specific area of physical therapist practice.
She has found her purpose to be aligned with providing the highest quality of health care to women. With her vast range of physical therapy skills she treats the whole body in addition to specializing in pelvic floor conditions.
She has been a yoga teacher since 2010 and trained with some of world’s best yoga teachers in San Francisco and Utah. She became a Pilates practitioner through Polestar Pilates with a focus on rehabilitation. Elements of yoga, meditation and Pilates all influence her style of treatment to enhance your mind-body connection.
She understands the healing benefits of a safe space for manual therapy, discussing your personal goals, and learning about the amazing functions of your anatomy. She works to educate and empower patients to regain control over their bodies, live their best life, and optimize their vaginas for birth, pleasure, and exercise!
In her free time she likes to listen to audiobooks and podcasts, teach yoga, walk/jog with my two dogs and indulge in movie nights with my husband and best girlfriends.
Dr. Andrea will be servicing our clinic location at Beautiful Mountain Birth Center located at 7611 S Jordan Landing Blvd Suite 130, West Jordan, UT 84084.
Dr. Betty DeLass
Betty is the founder and owner of Reborn Pelvic Health & Wellness, LLC. She is extremely passionate about changing the standard of care during preconception, pregnancy, postpartum and beyond.
Betty is a world-class pelvic health expert. She is a physical therapist by trait and has helped 1000s of people throughout her 10+ year career function, feel and move better! She truly believes that we are meant to live life to the fullest and she wants that for you, too!
Dr. Betty, struggled with a miscarriage, unexplained infertility, postpartum anxiety, depression, prolapse, incontinence and diastasis recti after her first child. Knowing first-hand how difficult it can be to navigate this stage of life, she wanted to help others get back to living their lives to the fullest without shame or embarrassment about their pelvic health. Unfortunently, more often than not, pelvic dysfunction can lead to postpartum mood disorders, secondary to an inability to get back to activity because of unexpected physical changes, pain, discomfort, leaking, and/or painful intimacy. What if we worked more upstream? What if we worked on preventing dysfunction from happening in the first place? And what if we provided true prehab and rehab to our birthing people? And that was where Reborn was derived out of.
As a doctor of physical therapy, she believes one-on-one care is the best. Because many people do not have access to pelvic rehab, she created The Optimal Vagina: Beyond Kegels to reach more people. You can now start your journey and optimize your vagina in your own home. She is beyond excited for you to start!
She specializes in treating return to exercise postpartum with endurance sports and athletes. She is also passionate about finding the “why” behind your symptoms, optimizing your body and empowering you to become the expert of your own body so that you can live life to the fullest.
Dr. Betty serves our mobile visits and brings her table and supplies with her to your home.
